Discovery

WALT:

We are learning to develop the 5 key competencies through activity based learning. We are learning to be Self Managed, use our Thinking, Use language, symbols and text, Participate and Contribute and Relate to Others.

SUCCESS CRITERIA: We will show the key competencies throughout discovery time.

I am making a ball and a slide. I am helping to make balls for other people's snowmen.

Gymnastics

WALT:

We are learning to make different shapes with our bodies. The shapes we are making are pikes, tucks, stretch and straddle. 

We are learning to make a sequence using shapes and rolls.

SUCCESS CRITERIA: Make a sequence using different shapes and rolls.

TEACHER COMMENT: You are getting really good at the different rolls and shapes that we have been practising. Keep up the good work!

Community

We are learning to get to know each other so we can be a strong community.

Term 2 writing - a special time with friends.

Discovery

I made this kite. I used some glue sticks then glue it and colour in. Then you can make stars with them. We made it from room 24.

We are learning to identify letters and sounds in our story.

The children will be able to:

• Hold a paint brush correctly

• Use a paint brush to demonstrate different techniques

• Use a different brush strokes

I did the white bits then I painted the green bits and then the red bits. The red bits are just close to the lines and a bit past the lines. The white passed the red lines too.
